Engaging Students with Problem Based Learning: You Light Up My Life!
What’s involved in lighting the interior spaces of a submarine? In this workshop you’ll “learn by doing” – working together in teams to solve a real-world open-ended problem using the New England Board of Higher Education’s Problem Based Learning “Whiteboard” method. You’ll also receive complete access to NEBHE’s online PBL Challenges, student and teacher resources, and strategies for assessing and implementing PBL. We’ll have research results on teacher and student reactions available plus implementation stories from teachers who have successfully used PBL in their classrooms.
Participants should bring their own laptop computer or tablet.
