Physics Bowl consists of Physics Trivia questions
In Physics Bowl 1, students will take a pencil and paper physics trivia test. There is a trophy for the winner of Physics Bowl 1. The top four scoring teams move on to Physics Bowl 2. The results of Physics Bowl 1 DO contribute to the team’s overall score at the Olympics. Fermi questions and estimation problems are common.
In Physics Bowl 2, students participate in a live multiple choice quiz with buzzers. There will be multiple choice questions projected onto a screen. There might be demonstrations that go along with the questions. There is a trophy for the winner of Physics Bowl 1. The results of Physics Bowl 1 DO NOT contribute to the team’s overall score at the Olympics.
